About Us

We are Mike and Faye - an Aus and a Brit from Sydney Australia. We have two children: Jimmy 6, and Alex, 4. We have made a decision to take a 'year out' in 2018, for many reasons. To spend time as a family, remove ourselves from the ratrace, and try and discover what it is want to do with the rest of our lives (and where we want to do it).

MIKE

Insomniac, Practical. The one that came up with this whole idea. Believes he's a qualified doctor, plumber, electrician, arborist, psychiatrist...... so what could go wrong?

FAYE

Terrible at languages, likes being organised. Lover of travel and experiences, not so keen on mosquitoes.

JIMMY

Jimmy Boy, thespian. Likes drawing, singing, Odd Squad and chicken nuggets. Dislikes homework and not being able to finish a sentence.

ALEX

Miss Alex. Likes to whinge, has blonde hair. Likes Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse and drawing lovehearts. Dislikes potatoes and her hair being brushed.
